Recent project : - Installing Danfoss Drive to Extraction Plant
COOPERAGE QUIETER AND SAVING ENERGY
We were asked to investigate a noise problem on an extraction plant within a cooperage. We proposed that we install a Danfoss 45kw HVAC drive to the main extract fan. This was accepted. During commissioning we ran the fan at various speeds to eliminate the noise. This was acheived and now the customer has virtually no resonance and is saving 10 kw per hour helping to pay back his initial costs.

Recent project :- Supplying lighting and Lightmaster panel.
SAVINGS ON LOWBAY LIGHTING
After supplying 400watt MBI Lowbay lights to a customer, they asked if we could reduce the running costs of the lighting. We suggeested they install a Varimatic Lightmaster Panel. This was agreed, after completion they were delighted to see savings of 28% on their electrical consumption.

Recent project : - Installing Power Factor Correction equipment at a local woodyard.
TIMBER YARD BACK ON LINE
Timber Yard more profitable due to Power Factor correction
Whilst looking at electrical loading within a Timber Yard recently it was noted that they were near the limit of their own 750kva mains supply. They had introduced a 400kva generator to supplement their demand. After closer inspection and carrying out a survey with a Power Factor equipment manufacturer on existing PFC we discovered older units to be faulty. After calculations to correct the Power Factor. We installed 600kvar of capacitance automatically switching banks of 50kvar as the inductive load increased or decreased.
The final outcome meant that the generator could now come off-line and full loading of the yard re-instated to the mains supply. Saving the owner nearly £5,000.00 per month running costs for the generator.

Recent project :- Replacing Jeumont Schneider Drives with Danfoss Drives

Installation Consisted 2 off Danfoss 450 kw FC 102 HVAC Drives Master and follower fitted to customers Extraction Plant fans, with a further 1 on stanby. The customer was experiencing harmonics in his substation transformer, after the new Drives were installed his problem disappeared. He is now saving on capacitors for his old drives and his energy bills.
Recent project :- Replacing Star-Delta Starters in Edinburgh with Danfoss
Variable Speed Drives to drive process fans

3 x 132KW FC102 HVAC DRIVES AND 1 x 37KW FC102 HVAC DRIVE
Reducing energy costs and wear and tear on equipment.
